Manchester Airport's viewing park is an unlikely oasis. Below the roar of jet engines heading off to far-flung places stood a once thriving plane-spotting scene filled with steamy cups of tea, well sauced 'bacon-butties', and deep-seated friendships. But the pandemic has put the viewing park's life on pause, leaving its community, like all of us, needing to adapt and find purpose and connection in other ways. This feature documentary follows three spotters as they learn to cope with the pandemic and a life beneath the empty skies brought about by COVID-19.
